Dmoz.org - Open Directory Project (ODP)
Open Directory Project (ODP) is the most comprehensive human edited directory of the Web, compiled by a vast global community of volunteer editors. The ODP powers core directory services for some the most popular portals and search engines on the Web, including AOL Search, Netscape Search, Google, Lycos, DirectHit, and HotBot, and hundreds of others. The ODP is 100% free. There is no cost to submit a site or to use our data. Anyone can download and use ODP data at no cost provided they comply with the ODP's free license agreement and attribution. Also, there is no cost associated with listing and submitting sites.
ISAKdmozlists.pl - Get ODP into white/black lists
The main objective of the script is to transform ODP data into lists of domains and URLs. These lists can be used to categorize a website or as a white or black list. A copy of ISAKdmozlists.pl is available in Downloads and is distributed under GPL License.
ISAKdmozlists.pl algorithm is based on a script called dmozlists.pl written by Masanori Harada. ISAKdmozlists.pl has been written from scratch to give more configuration options.
Generated ISAKdmozlists
You can download a copy of the generated lists of ISAKdmozlists.pl in the Downloads. Be careful, this version is not automatically updated for the moment. If you want a fresh copy of the lists, you should run the script by yourself with the lastest ODP dumps. The configuration used to generate the dmozlists available below is the default configuration of the script.
